I just found out I am pregnant. When should I contact you?
Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's never too early to contact me! I use your estimated due date as an estimate for your session. Once you have delivered we will schedule your session.
When do you schedule Newborn Sessions?
It's best to have your Newborn Session when they are 2 weeks old, 6-10 days old is ideal. As the days pass they become more alert and are less likely to stay asleep.
My newborn is older than 2 weeks. Can I still book a session?
Absolutely! Just because you missed the preferred window opportunity doesn't mean you shouldn't have this special time documented! I've had many newborns come into the studio that were older than 3 weeks and was still able to capture beautiful portraits.
Do you provide props for Newborn Sessions?
Yes! I provide all props such as hats, head bands, blankets, wraps and baskets. You are more than welcome to bring in your own props or even something sentimental.
How long is a Newborn Session?
Newborn sessions range anywhere from 1.5-3 hours. This time is needed to soothe, feed and change. These sessions are not rushed in any way.
